Wow, this is a loaded question. We are vendors at the Indy show and spoke with Brian (organizer of the show) regarding this issue.
First, June & July are historically his slowest months of the year. Some vendors will actually stop doing shows in the middle of summer because of this.
2nd, from what he said, he has had 15 vendors stop doing his show as a result of the raid. They stopped for a variety of reasons. Some vendors are no longer in the business. Others would do both the Columbus & Indy shows when they are on the same weekend - which they didn't fall on this month. Others have come to the conclusion that the midwest shows are too much of a hassel and will not do his show.
I do think the breeder show will have a good turnout. Brian is investing a lot of money in advertising. He is trying some new avenues & is even advertising on Animal Planet and a few other shows.
The Indy show is a good one, give the show a little time & it will recover soon enough.
