Question from woma Breeders.

rudedogsurfrat Feb 07, 2006 08:02 PM

I have a pair of 2002's that I was going to sell but noone bought so I bred them.
Now she's gravid and I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing because last year I was in Costa Rica when she layed an the whole thing was a horrible disaster that ended up in 10 worthless eggs when I got back.

This year I'm not going anywhere.
Can someone please give me good tips on incubation?
I know this is the hardest part from experience and from word of mouth.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Bummer about last year.

Try incubating them on perlite. Use a 1-1 ratio by weight & just set the eggs on top. Use normal temps 88 - 89 deg F. & things should be alright.

We don't breed these yet just Balls, but a pretty reputable breeder told me to never let the eggs of Womas touch any water or wet medium, he puts them on racks above medium at 88-90 Deg.
