ferns might not be the best for a whites.. mine tramples any of the smaller plants i put in the tank.. ive had good luck with philodendrons, antheriums, (sp?) and bromiliads...

I agree with sleep.. stay away from ferns.. they will be simply be stomped to pieces (besides, alot of them need more humidity than a whites will like). There is a lot of plants in the pothos family that will give a wide life and have sturdy stems on them that can endure the abuse of a whites.. Some of the maranta (prayer type) plants are good too.. and Dieffenbachia plants are good too.. The best thing, all of these can be found found alot of times at your local Lowes or Home Depot..

Or you can be lazy like me and put fake ones in there. Then it doesn't matter what kind of plants your use! Ha! Ha! It is kinda nice having that option of lots of colors and such. I've got like orchids and lillies and plants like that in my tank. And it's all maintenance free.

I actually hope to do a viv one day and wish yuou luck Brad, I think they are beautiful!
