shell cleaner???

i asked thius in painted turtles and relized it may take a while for a response haha.but is there anything ican buy at petstores to clean my painted turtles shell???

I have tried lightly spraying some chlorohexadine solution (greatly diluted) and then wiping off. It is great for cleaning wounds AND disinfecting enclosures. If you dilute it correctly, then it makes as a good and safe (non-toxic) shell cleaner.
