OMG-He is so tiny!!!

kriswaters Feb 08, 2006 11:25 AM

915 am....just as promised by Tyler...the baby arrived! What a great packing job! I could hardly get the lid off of his little cup and he was book'n to get out. Climbed right out on my hand. His color was great! Once in his enclosure, he climbed right to the top and started basking!

Whew, I am a ball of nerves! Pudge was much bigger when I got her! Thank god I have small crixs. I will post some pictures as soon as he settles in a little.

YAA, just make sure to give him lots of quiet time to adjust. You'll be amazed!! Rana was sooo tiny when I got her too, she would get lost in her cage! BUT she was always there for feeding time, which I did with a cup. Sometimes all you would see was her two back feet and her tail sticking out of the cup!! Keep us posted and let us know when you pick out a name!

What a funny thing...he is about as big as a ficus leave. He has given my several heart attacks because he is "jungle-gym'n" around the enclosure. He drank well this morning, and has already eaten 4 or 5 tiny, tiny crixs. I used the bowl method because I was worried the crix would be lost. It was funny cuz he tried to zap the cricket from the outside...he retreated then figured out how to get them. Tyler says he free feeds them, and I will when I get some bigger crixs.

He is so cute!! I'm glad I continued on with another...Pudge would be proud of this little guy.

PS...still no name. I know vegasbilly is holding his breath waiting for me to name him!! LOL
