From what I understand- the numbers are fairly low and they are primarily found in the coastal area of Oman. Of course, I have never personally traveled to verify this and therefore can only pass on what I read and hear from others who are more familiar with this species.

Peter Uetz lists the distribution odf this species as follows:

S Saudi Arabia (Rub' al Khali desert), Oman, Bahrain (questionable fide WILMS et al. 2002).
Terra typica: Bu Ju'ay (1470 feet), desert Rub'al Khali, Hadramaut, Southern Arabia (Oman fide WILMS et al. 2002).
