my carpet chameleon recently laid eggs. i dont know what to do with them. i read to try pearlite...where can i get it. right now i have them in fresh potting soil. how can i accidentally kill them(moving them too much? using water?) ok, i am clueless and i need as much info as you can give me so that i can try to keep these things alive.

I do have to wonder why you were not prepared for this before she laid them. Are they fertile? Did she mate?

here is a link to eggs - laying to hatching.

no, i hadnt read that one, it was very helpful.
see, i got her a month ago and didnt realize she was pregnant, found out from who i got her from that the guy that gave her to them had her in a cage with males. so i concluded that the eggs should be fertilized.

if allowing the possible fertile eggs to develop would be in their (and your) best interest.
Are you prepared for the monumental task of raising a bunch of hungry little chameleons, feeding them appropriate sized prey, and housing?
Might be best to freeze off this batch of eggs.
