You are one lucky person!
That is a spectacular snake. I love to strong black stripes its retained. Looking at alot of adult black heads, it appears that the black bands normally fade when they age? Is that normal or just on a select few that I've seen.
I plan to purchase a pair in a few months when hatchlings are available, and am trying to see all the color variations.
Again spectacular snake.

Thanks, I should get a couple clutches this year.
Also, you are correct to a certain degree. Some don't fade, some fade a bit, & some fade completely. Here's a pic of the male & female at the start of breeding season. I would call him extremely faded.
WOW,
The pink in the lighter one is absolutly beautiful.
Those should make some spectacular babys.
Cant wait to see!
Congrats:

Ok...you made me put mine back together again.

My pairs have been together nonstop for over 2 months now. Also, I don't feed any of them during the breeding season. I don't want them to get distracted from their real job. As soon as the females go into the post-ov-shed & I'm 100% sure they're gravid, then I'll pull the male & start feeding him. I won't even try the female until after she lays. Then it's rats-o-plenty for her.
