i looked into the vision cage also, it is a good cage, you have to get the cage with the extra vent and then get a flourescent strip also, i bought a cage from doug dix, it is made out of wood cage, so far the cage works great, it holds heat well, and i dont even have to use high wattage bulbs, and it comes with a flourescent fixture, my uro loves the cage he loves to walk around in it, i hope this helps if you need more advice feel free to post most questions

In Doug's cage, could I use my Powersun UV? I only use the one light and it sits on top of my cage. I would be worried to hand a hot light like that on the inside, I feel safer with it on top and out of their reach. Thanks.

i dont use the powersun bulb, in that cage, he also told me i dont have to use the powersun bulb, i use a basking bulb and a flourscent uvb, and that is fine, and i get great temps with those bulbs, it holds heat very well and my uro likes to run around the cage, i also had a tank, i found that i spent to much money on high wattage bulbs and tanks dont hold heat well, if you go with dougs cage or a vision cage you will apprecaite how well heat holds with small wattage bulbs, hope this helps, feel free to reply this,

I got rid of almost all of my florescent fixtures when I started using the powersuns. I like only having to worry about one bulb and one fixture. I think for myself, I have found purchasing the one powersun bulb and having one hood was less expensive than buying a reptisun 8.0, the fixture, a basking bulb and a hood. On some of my long cages I do use an inexpensive florescent tube light for the purpose of more light, not the uva/uvb properties. I have looked at Doug's cages and they look awesome. Very practical with a furniture look to them. I would like to move all of my uros into them in the future if I can get this light thing settled. Thanks for you info! I appreciate it.

I have a vision cage, it works well, you do need the extra vent however. I do not personally use a nightlight but i use an under tank heater which is fine at night. Here is a picture if you can see it well enough. they hold alot of sand too!
Good luck!

about getting a vision cage. his site says they'll set up the cage to include the lighting setup with the uvb and basking bulbs. I'm really excited about this. Thanks for the pics and info guys!
