saxicola lizard?????

reptigurl Jul 26, 2003 01:22 PM

I was going to buy a saxicola lizard(lacerta saxicola) at a pet store but i wanted to find out more about it before i got it,but i can't can't find any info on them. I was beginning to wonder whether that was the real name for the lizard. They did give me a care sheet with enough info on it to care for the lizard so if i get it i will post a picture. It is suposed to get 8" and it is a brownish colour right now with some green on the tail. if you know anything about this species please respond
thanx,
Mal

I decided not to get a saxicola lizard because i can't find much info on them and they are really fast and not so good for handleing which isn't a great idea for a beginner like me. So instead i got a leapord gecko, better for handling and because they're so popular there is a vast amount of information on them, but if anyone knows could they tell me how to tell if my lizard is a girl or a boy?
thanx,
mal
