Comments on the pinesnake disappearing

I do believe that justinian 2120 is the kind of person, that believes in practice what i preach not as i do.What i got about your speech about people over collecting or the habitate misplacement was you still field herp, but have a more understanding of what your doing, and collecting does harm to populations.First when field herpin i see nothing wrong with maybe keeping a pinesnake you might find or a bullsnake you might flip ,or whatever floats your boat.Second ,when roadcruising seeing a dead 7ft indigo snake or a timber smashed in the middle of the road, then off to the side where a bulldozer or a chainsaw is destroying hundereds of acres ,and in the proccess not only one or two being collected, but maybe a hundered or two be destroyed, not to mention the animals being destroyed ,out of fear or for the hell of it,you kwow heads chopped off.Furthers my thoughts on the so called collecting speech you gave.Take 1oo field trips a year to the area and still not have an impact that road or bulldozer has in just afew days.I have areas ive collected for over 15yrs and many others frequent and still find more and more animals, but have others that have been bulldozed to make industrial parksand what not, black top is what you find.Third im from Indiana AND HAVE FIELD collected at least 8 pinesnakes found in several areas in florida alive and kicking ,over 17 smashed inthe road 1 cut in half.dont tell me about field collecting.

lol...let's play nice,now...yeah fred i am not a hypocrite-i practice what i 'preach'-if i can't practice it,i shut the hell up about it/keep my opinion to myself,etc...someday maybe someone on some forum-any forum-will actually read what i type-that i am aware collecting pales in comparison to habitat destruction, etc. as a threat to snake populations, and that it is merely a small-but not negatable-factor....if you get time, please re-read my posts to better get the gist of them....and the following is basic math-three minus one equals two.....two minus one equals one....one minus one equals zero.

I dont know where these dispassionate people come from or how they work their way into these boards and try to ostracize field herpers.
