I was wondering how can you tell the age of a male mali uro, is it the clour stage, or just how much black they have? I realy would love to know and if you wont a pic, Ill post one

the length is a pretty good way to tell age, you can also sort of tell from the coloring, yours looks fairly large, but it would be easier to guess by its length. My saharan is still a juvi almost an adult i am guessing since he is 9.5 inches now, doug says he should finish off 10.5 or 11 we will see...but Malis i think are larger as an adult. A vet would be the best person to ask or a breeder if they can see your uro in person.

well thanks, Its a kinda old pic, he is now dark. He is 11-12 inces. I think he is two, but Im noy sure.
