Gray TF morph tank

TW Jul 26, 2003 01:36 PM

I went the more difficult route w/ this naturalistic tank for my Gray TF morphs & froglets. Slope was created w/ river rock, pea-size gravel topped w/ preserved moss & artificial ivy vine.

Water is siphoned daily; aerated w/ airstone. I will be offering fruit files tomorrow. 3 morphs, 2 froglets...

H. versicolor no doubt

definately not hyla vrsicolor because right now I have captive bred hyla versicolor froglets and they look like mini adults. I think what you have are squirrel treefrog froglets."Hyla Squirrela". I don't know for sure but they definately aren't hyla versicolor. DC

These tads are WC Gray tree frogs; only 2 tree frog species occur in MA; although I think the varying opinions on species I.D. are amusing. Thanks folks

But the plumpness of the frog sort of looks like a gray tree frog.

Gray Tree froglets here exhibit a lime green coloration which carries on to juveniles

Looks much more like a green than a squirrel.

Hi,
I like this tank. I have 9 grey tree frog tad poles and only two have back legs. I was wondering, after they become frogs can I place them in with the two adults that I have. they are in a large 46 gallon tall hexagon tank. My tadpole tank does not have an actual lid. any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,
Robyn
