werneri breeding age?

insecttrap Feb 09, 2006 11:02 AM

Does anyone know from experience how old werneri fems need to be to breed. This is just a general question. Pheve, I have been meaning to email you about your babies that died. Sorry to hear that happen to you. I had 8 of 10 survive and I had to get some of them out of the sack because the RH was too low. Email me, If you get more, we could exchange stock.

Hi Micheal, ya know I'm not real sure about the breeding age but it is said that maturity is about 6 months of age , so I supposed anytime after that it is possible. But if it is a good thing that young I would not think so.

As far as my girls babies being still born, yeah what a shame, I opened the sacs also Micheal, but none were even alive. Of course I was not right there when she began to give birth, I did however notice something was going on and saw some of the sacs in the limbs. She was not finished yet, but even being right there for the rest of them, they were not alive.

Yes, I wish we could talk, I'm really happy you got 8 out of the 10, thats wonderful.
I saw mine mate again late Dec. so have to see what she does this time. I sure hope I can make everything perfect for her.

Did you keep all of your youngsters?

Thank you for the kind words and any tips you may have , please send them my way
