Yippee Chippee!

PHRatz Feb 09, 2006 06:45 PM

I signed on because I saw something today that thrilled me so much I can't wait to tell anyone who'd care.
Today, Feb. 9,2006, Chip FINALLY stopped limping!!
Whoooooooo hoooooooooooo!

He is using his left front leg the way he's supposed to & I think allowing him to exercise each day as he pleases had to have helped him regain full use of that leg.
I am so happy for him.
Now all that's left to do in his recovery is for the vet to periodically remove the acryllic to see how much his shell has regrown then replace it as needed and then give him time.
I am so proud of that little boy for having such a unbelievable will to live & then doing it.
This really made my day, if not the rest of my week!

Thanks! I'm glad he made someone else's day too.
A book.. geeze I wouldn't even have a clue about how to get a book deal lol but actually I do keep notebooks on everybody who has issues.
I write down everything that's important in their lives for reference in case I need it later.

Chip is really something, I'm just so happy for him, I can't even tell you how happy.
He's going to be very popular this summer when my kid class begins. The kids love to see the ones who've been saved from death. They love to hear a story of triumph for a poor innocent animal. They are really going to be thrilled to see him.
Even better they'll get to see proof that it's not true- that males always have red eyes.
