My red tegu is in a two story cage and is having shedding problems due to low humidity. The top floor has a basking lamb and the bottom floor has a UV lamp. She sleep on the bottom floor so I believe this should be the floor with higher humidity (also I believe it would be easier). What method should I use to increase the humidity? Should I not worry about increasing the humidity for the entire bottom floor and just create a hide box with high humidity? thanks for your help

seal up your cage real well and mist it down a couple times. if you dont already, make dirt your substrate and mist it down a lot and that will hold moisture well throughout the day. but its a lost cause if your cage isnt sealed. you can also bathe it in warm water for 30mins a day. and give it more Vitamin C in its diet.
