Ghost tried to eat my finger lol!

gypsy1dragon Feb 10, 2006 02:26 AM

I always feed my corns in their deli cups. Just open the lid a little bit and drop the pinkie in on the other side from the snake. I guess Spooky was really hungry or maybe she didn't like the hair on the fuzzy, lol. She would not let go of my finger, kept coiling around, too bad I didn't have a camera. A little different from their little strike and releases.

My main concern was getting her loose without damaging her teeth, but once I pried her loose, she ate her fuzzy with no problem.

Just thought I would give ya'll a laugh. I'm glad she's an '05 and not grown, or my son's ball python!

Didn't mean to leave the impression that my corns strike anymore, that was just when they first came home, and just a couple of them at that. Even my 2 W/C don't strike anymore. Can't wait for August and the Daytona Beach show again. Got to feed the addiction!

was it frozen/thawed? some snakes tend to go for the heat of our hands when feeding f/t. i always feed f/t, although if my 7 foot jcp doesn't eat soon i may have to try p/k or even live. don't want to do that though. i have...
