The question was "how's the new snakeroom coming along?"

Riobravoreptiles Feb 10, 2006 01:59 PM

.. here it is in all it's glory. The room is finished but still empty, the epoxy floor coating is taking a long time to cure completely...

That's a nice floor coating. I would like to do my garage floor but it's got ten years on it and I'm told it's almost impossible to prep an old concrete surface for that stuff to cure right. I am assuming your floor is new (concrete?)

Riobravoreptiles Feb 10, 2006 05:25 PM

.. yeah, it's a new slab. I waited for the cement to cure, sanded and etched the surface, followed all the instructions. And the truth is the floor has been hard as a rock for over two weeks now.. but it is still out-gassing too much to put animals in the room. I recommend the coating but you have to give it time.

Looking good, Gus! Would love to help you, but you do not exactly live across the street. Looks like you will have plenty of room for all the youngsters, that you are raising up..............Johnson Herp

Gus -

The New Snakeroom looks great! It should get you through the upcoming season ... then what? You'll just have to chew up some more of that acreage. Only in the life of a boa guy!
