Cool is not necessary with Leopard Geckos and can be quite dangerous for them. I've included a link to a picture of an ovulating female and what to look for. You may have to have her squirm just a little see this during the beginning of ovulation.
If she is not ovulating you can cut down the amount of day light she gets for about two weeks, and then bring the light back up to normal. This will sometimes give her a little kick start. This is also good for the male to get him thinking on track.
