Between Python Sebae sebae and Python sebae natalensis?

and they have each been given species status as of a few years ago. The most apparent difference is that P. sebae has the typical, large plate scales on top of the head, (internasals, frontals, and supraoculars). While P. natalensis shows small internasals, and then behind them are very much smaller scales, and not the larger plate-like scales seen with most other members of the genus Python. There are other subtle color and pattern differences, but head scale differences are the most obvious.

Kelly, thank you. The only difference I could find by poking around on the internet was the lack of a dark spot in front of the eye on the sebae. LOL, boy I hope I got that right. Think I'll go wake her up and have a look at her face .

I THINK there's a difference in the white markings under the eyes too, but not sure.
