When I visited costa rica last year, I saw lots of auratus in the north eastern lowland forests adults, and juveniles, and even some that still had remnants of a tail.
The size of the adults was amazing! They were far bigger than any that i have seen anywhere. Even bigger than the ones i had a few years ago which, as far as i know were from costa rica also.
The adults were over two inches long from nose to butt, and very bold. making them a half inch longer than my large male that was over two years old at the time.
So has anyone else seen them in the wild, and did you notice anything a difference in size and boldness? Where did you see them?
