How long after baby Veileds are born should you wate to feed them.

They can eat as soon as they will. I usually leave one or two pinhead crickets in the cage with the chameleon and it will eat when its ready. I don't leave more than that in case they annoy the chameleon or maybe even bite it.

THe first day they come out of the egg they may be dragging the yolk sac behind them or not. They probably won't eat the first day because the yolk sac is very filling. They might eat on the second day but for sure on the third day after hatching. I usually feed them on the 2nd day.
