Do most of the big breeders maintenance feed?

pfan151 Feb 12, 2006 12:56 PM

Just curious because all of the snakes I have got from the big breeders have been very small compared to those I have recieved from the smaller guys. The latest I snake I received from a big breeder was born in july and was just at 100g when I received it about 3 weeks ago and he eats very well and has never refused a meal for me. I bought my trio of het pieds that were born in august from a smaller breeder and they were already 250g when I recieved them in october and these are even a little sporatic on feeding but they are all now around 450g. Is this pretty common for the big breeders compared to smaller guys with snakes they are not holding back? Thanks

that its easier for the smaller breeders that have a hundred hatchling opposed to thousands to feed more often.

you really have true het lavenders? I think thats a great investment personally.

Well they will be in the mail from the Snake Keeper to me tommorrow. So I will technically have them on tuesday. I sold one of my Galapagos torts to get them so they did not really cost me any cash. I must have a Lavender Albino Pied before I die. IMO they are the most amazing snakes ever produced.
