I built a cage for my Ctenosaura Similis...

I finially finished my C. Similis cage after about 10 weeks of work. It is 6' X 3' X 4'(on a 2' stand). Let me know what you think.

Almost finished (no my basement doesn't lean that much, Apparently I do though)

Added mulch and plants

Relaxing under the UVB bulb

Sweet cage!

How come you don't make more use of all that height? Throw some big branches in there so he can get up closer to the light, and it would look more impresive!

He's a terrestrial lizard. He wouldn't climb up a branch any way. Besides the UVB bulb puts out 2000 uW/cm² @ 12", this is enough to kill the lizard within a few minutes. It's a MegaRay Zoo Mecury Vapor bulb. Very intense can't put it closer than 30" to the lizard.
