help taming baby?

somegirl Jul 26, 2003 04:47 PM

hey guys. ive had my little girl for a month now, and i handle her pretty much everyday (although ive had to go out of town twice). she's more or less ok once i get her out, but when im trying to pick her up she runs around like crazy. is there anything i can do to help her get over this, or is it just a matter of continued handling? thanks

My babies do that too, but when they come out they are fine. Its just their natural instincts to run from bigger animals. Which is a good sign. Some of them get over this and others do not. I have some adults who still try and run away but are fine when you get them out. And I have others who jump on my arm to come out of the cage. Hope this helps, and just keep holding her.

peace,
nathan
