Reduced Black H.h.horridum

HorridumAngeli Feb 12, 2006 11:10 PM

I have bred and hatched out many H.h.horridum. As a rule H.h.horridum are much less colorful as neonates & adults than H.h.exasperatum. This baby came from the same clutch as "Super Black" H.h.horridum. Both parents are reduced pattern. Now as you all Know, there are always exceptions to every rule. It even has color on the front legs and feet. This is rare in new born neonates. It is, as most all of my H.h.horridum more white in pattern than yellow like H.h.exasperatum.
Enjoy, I definately will !

Will the color stay or fade away as it gets older?
Is this the first clutch you have had with this pair?
Or the first using the Alverezi male? Curious as to where the color is from?
Nice none the less!

This baby is from two reduced pattern H.h.horridum parents. All of the other offspring have either been reduced pattern or normal H.h.horridum coloration. This perticular hatchling is an anomaly. Pictured is a sibling from the same clutch.
Take care,
