het for pied?

would this be the right kind of marker on a het for pied belly?

yah, that look about right. But you should know that normal ones can have the same "markers". So just to confuse you and let you know how little faith you should have in the het pied markers... some het pieds have them some dont. All mine do. I also have several babies that I picked out of imports the lat year that have them. Several other people have MANY with the markers that are not het pied. I think personally that the marker means nothing.

Pied markers are three scale side white belly with solid black lines that run down the side.

I have a 100% het pied with the marker (as well as several possible hets) but as the breeder I bought mine from explained...only about 1/2 of the 100% hets he hatches have the mark...I think using the marker is just superstition...but if your buying 50% hets what ever helps you choose lol ....as far as picking "normals" with the trait its highly unlikely but anythings possible.
