Best Racks?

ronin1360 Feb 13, 2006 03:03 AM

I'm looking to buy a new rack system that's on the smaller side (4-6 tubs) and was wondering who makes quality racks this size? I'm not trying to spend too much money but also don't want to "do it myself" because I don't think that it would be fair to subject the future of inhabitants of the rack to the shortcomings of my "handywork"!!!

I'd love to hear about any positive experiences people have had with small rack sellers. Thanks!

Check out boaphileplastics.com and animalplastics.com

I own both. They both are comparable in quality and price. The only thing I have against boaphile is their customer service isn't as good as animalplastics. If you are going to order from boaphile or AP, call them.

AP offers heat cable or heat tape. I prefer tape as it provides a much larger heating area and the tape stays cooler than the cable.

Thanks for the recs on the rack builders. I had another question: do people prefer heat tape to heat cable or vice versa? I'm sure both have their pros and cons butlet me know what you all think. Thanks!
