How common is one egg?

seboba17 Feb 13, 2006 07:46 AM

I have a relatively experienced female. She layed two eggs about three weeks ago, and then two days ago, she laid a singe egg. It seems healthy and normal, but this is her second breeding season, not the first set of eggs, so I'm a little cutrious about why she might have laid only one egg. Anyone know?

With this being her second year producing you might want to look at diet. I offer each of my females a day old mouse with its tail dipped in calcium and always keep a bowl of calcium in each geckos enclosure. I also offer a day old mouse once a week during breeding season. Some will take them and others will not. I also keep a bowl of mealworms and superworms in their cages at all times with a mineral supplement. Hope some this helps.
Good Luck,
William
