Suriname ?'s

ballpythons18 Feb 13, 2006 07:52 AM

How big do they get? I have a ball python for over a year now and i got a snow corn snake about a month ago. I've worked with my uncle's 15ft burmese and it was one of the nicest snakes i've met. Im gonna be gettin a albino burm in about 2 weeks at the Hamburg reptile expo. Iv'e seen some Suriname for $400-$600, but what would you pay for one? I am paying $125 for the burm. And yes I do Know how big they get, so if u want to say that they get huge, it wouldn't be nothing new to me.

Thanks

They can get pretty big 10ft average is 8ft though. Suriname's vary in price due to lineage, some are better looking than others, and are from suri's that are good looking as adults not just as babies. The extra $$ insures you a quality animal most of the time. In the end it's usualy a get what you pay for deal. If you get a suriname boa or 2 they will be the prize of your collection.

Good luck

Well I've seen some real nice looking surinames go in the $200 range... usually around $250... but $400 - $600 is a bit much unless they were some sort of morph
