Looking for some feedback on these pics... (dial up warning)

Jonathan_Brady Jul 26, 2003 05:44 PM

Any tips, recommendations, criticisms, etc... I know what I think is wrong with them, but what do you think? There are a lot of fairly redundant pics, but to me, there are subtle differences between each so I thought I'd post several. Thanks! jb

And one for size reference. The distance between the middle of each foot on the tripod is 11". From foot to the black pole extending down from the middle is just a tad over 6".

More to come...

Great pics, the third picture in your first post is awesome. What type of camera are you using?

Ahh, I recently picked up a Nikon coolpix SQ. So far I am really impressed with this little thing. Here is a shot I took today at the Toronto Zoo.

i know she's not as big as some of the others on your page, but you're more than welcome to put her on your site with the big snakes. like i said, she's not HUGE, but at 8ft and 35lbs, she's not tiny.

it's an eye-sore and a shame to the U.S. reptile keepers. Ship it immediately to Germany!

Also kiddin'

Great animal, nice photos! What else can you expect?

Hi Jonathan!
I think the pictures look great. I especially like the headshots. I didn't even know you had an adult Guyanan (I'm guessing?)...he/she is a pretty one!
I hope all is well!
Take care,
Amanda
P.S. Maybe we'll see you in Daytona this year!

Jonathan_Brady Jul 27, 2003 03:43 PM

She is an adult guyana. Got her a little over a month ago. She was turned in as an animal that the owner could no longer care for to the VA reptile rescue, believe it or not. She's gorgeous and I'm looking forward to a long life with her.
And yes, I'll be at Daytona this year. If you can't find me, go to kevin and charlotte's table and i'm sure they'll know where to track me down, if i'm not there giving them a hand with whatever i can.

ttyl! jb

she became one of my all time favorites. Too bad your obligated never to sell as I would make a very strong bid for her.

Jonathan_Brady Jul 27, 2003 03:46 PM

If I manage to coerce her into breeding, you'll definitely be on the list for offspring, I promise!
