Real scary stuff Gavin. Heck, a 14 year old has no business even owning a large constrictor and its always disheartening when a reputable breeder like Bob Clark sells one of his retics to a kid who can't even put a legible sentence together. I'm sure the father assumed responsibility but if I knew that a 14 year old was in the equation, I would refuse to sell the animal. These are scary times we live in. With the large number of venomous reptiles available on the market accompanied by the number of incompetent people purchasing them, we will only continue to see tragic incidences take place until, in the near future, we see state by state jumping on the all out venomous ban bandwagon. As much as I am all for private rights to own venomous herps, I can't say I would be too disappointed which really stinks for the responsible keepers/hobbyists out there.
