Here is a photo of some animals (47 actually) that were found in a 400 sq ft area of my study site that I mentioned in a post down below... these animals were found within 72 hours of each other, and 1 of those nights is what we called a "slow night" compared to the others.

Figured if I was going to make extraordinary claims, I'd provide some extraordinary evidence.

Excellent stuff Bobby. I've seen a couple pictures now of buckets full of copperheads from that area. I think with snakes that thick, even I'd be kinda cautious about walking around there at night! Think they'll come in droves again this year?

I sure hope they do... actually walking around out there isn't too bad... most of the time they're just laying out in the open, or crawling around and paying you no mind.... They don't try to bite unless you really mess with them a LOT.

That's quite reminiscent of the 60-odd Sistrurus I picked up on a 2 mile stretch of levee right after a tropical storm.
