URGENT:::: I have a question !!

ErikStrait Feb 13, 2006 06:38 PM

Ok, So my female ball was bred and she has yet to shed, Although she is looking like she is starting to lay eggs!!!

Is it even possible for a female to lay without shedding. I know 100% that she hasn't shed as I have looked over all of her cage and can't find ANY skin........

Im not sure what to think??? I will go take some pictures and post em soon!!

Thanks Erik

LOL - apparently your girl thought the pre-lay shed was optional - I've heard it can happen (they skip it).

Congratulations!

Last breeding season, I had one female shed, and laid eggs four days later. I had another female not shed until after she laid her clutch.
I believe the shed cycle is only a rough estimate on when they will lay. It does not work everytime. Just a general guideline.
