Thank you all, but another question

Thank you those who replied. I'm starting to think that me adopting him was just as bad for him as where he was. We can't really aford to feed him better than we feed ourselves... or take him to a vet. i also dont like all the diseases im hearing about because as i said before we do have a baby in the house who is getting ready to crawl. is there a way that we could find him a good home. i would hate to see him bounce from bad habitat to bad habitat. Like i said before, he is really nice and loves attention. Thanks for taking a look!

You did a noble thing, but acting on impulse doesn't always work out unfortunately...

Place ads or ask around if someone who is capable and informed on their captive requirements wants it. Do not give it to neighbor kids who just want a small Godzilla cuz it looks cool.

See if there are any herpetologists, or herpetology clubs/societies, and what not.

Ask vets around your areas if you can post an ad there too.

An iguana diet is not really expensive, you just have to feed it right. How expensive are greens over there?!?!?

Anyways, try to find the best home for it through SPCA, humane societies, vets, petstores, reptile clubs or rescues, etc.

Good luck,

-IJ
