Possible New Ball Morph!! pics included...

reptimals Feb 14, 2006 12:36 AM

Here are pics of the ball python ..he is around 3-4 years old and has always been extremely bright .... he really sticks out like a sore thumb .. when people come over to see my collection they always ask about him and are curious to what "morph" he is ...i have seen plenty of adult balls and i have never seen an adult ball that is as bright as this fella from head to tail.. he "shines" out the rest ..he also has blueish/purpleish hues to his sides ... seen anything like him before? he resembles some morphs I have seen before, but he still seems a bit "different"...

let me know what u think ...i am not saying he is an actual new morph, i just think he has potentatil to maybe be one.. so please don't start a kingsnake forum war lol ..pic#1 is attached to this message ... thanks

WHAT U THINK HE CAN BE? THANKS

My guess is that it could be a Woma Ball, Not 100% sure though, If Kevin from NERD could see the photo's I am sure he could tell what it is or if it was a Woma Ball. The clear belly and banded pattern is what leads me to believe that it could be a woma but like I said I have not seen to many of them so I am not 100% sure but I would breed it and try and prove it. I have a 2005 female that looks almost like yours. Good luck with it. Thanks David

Here are 2 photo's of mine taken a few months ago.

i still say the vanilla/thunder ball. The light color, clean pattern and that severly reduced head pattern are key indicators for the morph. It may not be the same but shows alot of the characteristics. If you haven't seen the super you may want to look. it's one of the nicest morphs out there, and very rare.

from the head pattern and the very light body color it looks alot like the vanilla/thunder ball's. It is certainly a keeper and worth breeding at least once. If you don't want to try to prove it out, send him my way, I'll do all the hard work for ya

I would say a very nice reduced patterned animal, whether or not it is genetic, I would say 50/50 chance, but why not breed him and find out. Try to find a nice reduced patterned female for him.
