devi my bp who refused to eat for 2 months ate her third meal last night, she ate 3 sm mice, i tried a few days ago with a small rat and she coiled up and wouldnt touch the rat.... so i tried mice again last night and she ate. i guess what i am going to do is feed her for several feedings on mice till she gets more comfortable eating.....then we will try a small rat... i have even thought about a rat pup since they are about the same size as a mouse.

one of our snakes is a picky eater so what ive done to get her to eat is i gave her a mouse or two just to kinda warm her up, and then id give her a rat. i do this because i think starting small and ending big will build their curage. it worked for our female and now shes eating like a fool. sometimes when shes in one of her "im not going to eat" moods, we'll give her a small rat or baby rat to start her off.
im happy to hear that yours is eating for you now. how long have you had her for?

i got her dec 5.....that was a long 2 months, my first bp ate 4 days after getting him.
