Carpet Python

bigd2832 Feb 14, 2006 01:25 PM

I want to get another snake, I have a ball, RTB, and gray banded king. I would like to get a carpet that stays small and is realitivly mellow. What is the best type. What is a good price. How much do they really bite, and post any pics of their enclosures please. thank you

To my knowledge none of the carpets "stays small". They are considered a medium sized python. Take JCP's for instance, the males generally get 6' while the females can reach 8'. They don't have the girth or weight of the large pythons. You might read about Childrens Pythons, I think they stay smaller. Of course there is always Kenyan sand boas, and rosy boas, they stay small and are pretty cool looking.
