Hello,

Shoot me an e mail a few days in advance and I might be able to show you some good flipping spots in the area. I work nights so I am usually free during the day.

Houston sucks for herping, or atleast will from now on. Like Thomas mentioned most of the good spots have already been bulldozed or are currently being bulldozed. The outskirts of Houston are still good for flipping. There are still some good spots on the west side for kingsnakes. I would head to the coast if I were you, thats the place to be this time of the year as far as Houston herping is concerned!

GEEEEZ! I WISH I WOULD OF LOOKED AT A COMPUTER WHILE I WAS THERE... JUST GOT BACK FROM 8 DAYS IN HOUSTON AS I WRITE THIS AT 1AM FRIDAY HERE IN LOS ANGELES. REALLY WANTED TO FIND A PLACE TO FLIP A KINGSNAKE... ALL WE FOUND WERE SKINKSAND ANOLES AROUND THE CLEARLAKE AND GALVESTON AREAS...AT LEAST I KNOW THERE IS A STRONG GROUP OF HERPERS IN HTOWN. WE ONLY SAW LIZARDS THE LAST 3 DAYS B4 THAT NOTHIN 2 COLD. THE WEST SIDE IS THE BEST FOR KINGS...I'LL BE LOOKIN U GUYS. UP NEXT TRIP WILL BE IN APRIL/MAY. JD

Next time your in town give Scott or myself a shout and maybe we can organize an afternoon trip on either side of Houston. There are tons of places to find a variety of herps you just have to get 20-35 miles away from the downtown area.
