What kind of alarm are you talking about? A dialer or just audible alarm?

audible or dialer either one i know the helix has a dialer do they make audible temperature alarms

The HCS thermostats have audible alarms and the herpstat 2's have the ability to send a text message.. You can also find digital thermometers that have this feature and would probably be cheaper then buying a stat...
