if you have had a snow cornsnake for a whole 4 months, you are definitey ready for a giant python!!! i am in awe of your incredible reptile-keeping abilities! might i suggest that you go for something a little more in tune with your skills-like an adult wc eunectes murinus? or an adult female wc reticulatus???

how old are you anyways?

i'm 17, iv'e had the corn for about 5 weeks, and the ball python for about a year and a half now. I heard Retics are aggresive though, i've always wanted a burm.

By the way how old are u?I personally wouldn't recommend this 4 whole months for a giant snake. I've as well worked with my uncle and his 17ft burm when my uncle injured his leg. 4 months in my opinion is not long enough to get acquainted with larger snakes, this should wait for at least 2 years or more in my opinion. just my 0.02

thx, Richie

First of all, this is not a slam. What you need to do is do a search for some care sheets for burms and learn as much as you can about their care BEFORE you get it. They get large, therefore everything they do is large. They eat large, which gets expensive unless you grow your own. I doubt you can maintain a 15 foot burm on jumbo rats for it's entire life. They crap large, think a pile of horse crap here. The enclosure and everything you need to keep in working order can be expensive. The list goes on. Remember, I'm not trying to talk you out of this, I just think you need to learn all you can about this before getting into it.

I have a tank that i built that is 6ft long, 3ft wide and 2ft high. You should ask questions b 4 u judge or look at all the posts as i have already stated that i have worked with my uncles large burmese. All i need is to make sure the temps i got are right, I already have the temps i just wanna know wat everyone else's temps are. I also work and can AFFORD rabbits, don't critcize just because I asked a couple of questions. I know how large they defacate, i had to clean my uncles snake cage out as he couldn't do it. I have known this burm for over 3 years now and have exp. with large boids. Don't tell me about RESEARCING when u can't even research the other posts.

All i'am asking is don't be to quick to judge!!!

And I believe I said at the begining of my post that it wasn't a slam. Excuse me.
