I'm not sure if I spelled that right...

I just obtained one of these about a week ago and I have it set up in a tropical/humid set up with foliage and a basking area. I'm having a hard time finding any specific information on this lizard. It looks very much anole-like. Here's a photo:

These are very stress sensitive lizards which are very prone for respiratory infections unless they have a well ventilated cage.
So they should be housed like a cham from a humid environment.
Since they are so stress sensitive they need very dense foliage to effectively hide and since they are very active, very big enclosures are recommended. I´d say a 5 ft tall tank with a footprint of 4 x 3 ft should be the least.
Also they are quite heliophil and thus metal halides are a must.
If you do not take this serious, I almost guarantee that the animal passes away within three months.
If you follow these tips, the chances are still high that it does not survive longer than a year.
Vwery delicate lizards and the secrets of keeping them healthy for a long time are obviously not yet solved.

Good luck

Thanks for the info...I'm taking your advice and setting him up in his own enclosure with access to more ventilation. What did you mean regarding metal halides?
