New to Leo's - Shedding Frequency ??

Hello, first Leopard after years of just snakes(morelia)...question, how often approximately will a yearling leopard shed...I just acquired a 9 month old female...thanks.

anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

I don't know but i'll tell you this, you won't find it sitting around the cage because they usually eat the shed. So unless you watch for them to dull up you may not even know it happened.

It depends. If your gecko is still growing and or gaining weight it will shed more often. I've seen about every 2 weeks in mine, but I agree that it's about 2-4 weeks. It's harder to tell with some colors when they are going to shed. My African, which has really dark color, looks almost full on gray before a shed, while It took me almost a year to recgonize when my tang was going to shed. Basically if they their colors start to look really grayed out they are going to shed or if they look especially bright they just did. They usually get a kinda ring of gray against their brighter color about their heads before a shed.
