We live in Virginia, and we're having a hard time buying a croc. What gives? We live on a farm with over 100 acres of land, can provide an excellent home. We want a dwarf caiman or one of the smaller crocs. Anyone know of a breeder willing to ship?

I checked it out and Virginia does allow you keep crocodilians but appears that a state permit is required and it also appears this permit costs $50.00 ... there was only brief information about it on page 17 or 18 at:

When you break a state law *and* cross state lines (interstate commerce) the Feds get involved (Lacey Act)and penalties are considerably greater.

Just hang out on the classifieds area. keep asking...keep asking....and ask again and you will find someone. It may take a while. You also have to understand you're asking a question no one in their right mind would completely answer!! I mean I could give you an email address of exactly what you're looking for....but who are YOU anyway? I've been to jail buddy. Nothing caiman related but it's boring. I don't wanna go back.
