What is going on with our weather? We are in the early days of February and I am still receiving calls to remove snakes from people’s properties.
Normally here in Los Angeles, we see no snakes until April.
Almost all of the snake calls we receive are for Southern Pacific Rattlesnakes. What will happen if these snakes don’t cool down? Will they still mate this spring/ summer? It appears that they have already started to leave their den sites, given the locations of some of the calls.
Any input to this matter would be much appreciated.
Thanks:
Jason Mc
