I have been reading a chameleons book where I found written these lamps 'high intensity discharge lamps'.I have never heard of them before so I could need some information on these if anyone knows, or even better a link to a site.I am very interested in growing several plants in my terrarium and I haven't found the most appropriate choice to suit both chameleon's warmth needs and plant't light needs.The lamps described over the net are not bright enough when passing through the dense mesh we use,especially if the terrarium is taller 4-5 feet.
Anyway these are my questions regarding plants as I am about to build a tall terrarium.
