Wondering if anyone posted this before. The story of the hamster and rat snake in Tokyo which are "friends". Check out the snakes blue eyes, maybe he's probably in shed and that's why he's not munching it. It also says they switched him from f/t to live. He may not be interested now, but something tells me that hamsters days are numbered.

There was a thing on TV, not too long ago about a lady who keeps a mouse, a snake and a bird all in the same cage. I don't remember what kind of snake (they never said), but it was not a corn, a little smaller. The bird was a parakeet (budgie), and a normal little mouse.
As for the hamster with the snake, Don't some snakes prefer a specific type of rodent? I know some of my snakes wont take rat pinkies. Maybe its the way humans are to sharks. We taste funny (we are not their normal food), so once they bite, they generally let go (although one bite from a shark is usually enough). Just a thought.
