I tried to break the monotony of it, by flying to Miami last weekend to check on some snakes that arrived from Costa Rica, only to get stranded at West Palm Beach airport with a zillion other nitwits waiting for NYC dig out from the snowstorm. I ended up renting a car and driving straight through to Newark in 18 hours, as I had to be back by Monday morning for work. While it seemed pretty lousy at first(had a lonnnng time to ponder about stuff) it wasn't so bad, since all in all it was a good trip. Got to stop at Parrot Jungle and say 'Hi' to a friend there(Joe Waz) and see their MONSTER, near-18' saltwater crocc-"Crocosaurus", and saw some one gator floating in a canal.
Is any one else on the forum going to the All Florida Herp Conference March 25-26th?
Man, I can't wait until May 20th----Costa RICA!!!

....come live in Chicago where its a balmy 40 degrees at the moment and forecasts should be dropping us down to the teens by the end of the week. Oh for those 60 degree days! We have actually experienced a very mild weather in this region so I'm not complaining too much.
