I' ve just purchased an ultrasound machine and I will like to know more about the actual size of follicles? What is the rate at which it grows, what size should they be before I introduce my male and what size does the follicles become developing ovums? I have a female that is showing sighns that she is gravid, rotated with her belly exposed, but when I ultrasound her the follicles are around 17mm in diameter.

If you dont already have it, Dr. mark Sewards Ball Python Breeding video with the Sutherlands explains this very well.
If youre breeding balls you need it anyway.
Where did you get your ultrasound from and what was the cost if you dont mind.

I purchased it off Ebay for $1625 its approx. 4 to 5 years old and it came from a VET.
