Substrate question.

Is aspen substrate safe for BPs. What is another substrate that i can use?

Aspen is safe, but seems to mold if it gets wet. I prefer cypress because it holds moisture and does not mold...my pythons seem to like it the best.

There are many different types of substrates. I recommend you try a few and see which works best for you and your reptile. Personally, I prefer newsprint. Except for my chondros. They get cypress mulch.
